Emma Friaz Gallardo is an Associate Attorney at the Ranchod Law Group. She is fluent in Spanish. Raised in San Jose and Seattle, Ms. Gallardo considers herself a native of the West Coast. With Mexican-immigrant and farm worker roots, she was inspired to attend law school and become an immigration attorney. Aware of the struggles that her grandparents endured as immigrants, Ms. Gallardo strives to serve clients with compassion and respect.
Previously, Ms. Gallardo was an Immigrant Rights Fellow at the the International Institute of the Bay Area, preparing U-visa applications for Spanish-speaking clients. During law school she participated in the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic, volunteered at various naturalization workshops, and conducted “Know Your Rights” presentations at the Mexican Consulate, Natomas office.
Ms. Gallardo received her B.A. from Mills College and her J.D. from a top tier law school, the University of California, Davis, School of Law. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, shopping, and trying out Pinterest-inspired crafts.
